Born in Gainesville, FL on December, 28th 1984, John Eunice
has traveled around the world with his family as a military dependent.
John is the son of John and Tammy Eunice and the grandson of Wallace
and Betty Allbritton of Valdosta. While John has not always lived
in Valdosta, this has ALWAYS been his home and where he wanted to
return. John is a student at Valdosta State University where he
is majoring in political science and intends to pursue a law degree.
John has always been active in his community and knows that he can
serve Valdosta well with his past experiences in the Federal and
State Governments.
Two years ago, John was appointed to a position in the
US House of Representatives by now Senator Saxby Chambliss. In this
capacity he was responsible for 50 House employees and supervised
the day to day operations of the US House Page Program. John was
working in Washington DC during the 9/11 catastrophe and spent the
rest of his time there working with our representatives to help
get the anti-terror legislation passed through the House. Soon after
John returned home to Valdosta he learned that he had been appointed
to the Governors Office of Highway Safety Advisory Council. In this
position, John worked to improve our roadways throughout the state
and to make the flow of traffic more efficient for everyone. Along
with this governmental experience, John has also been involved with
these organizations:

•
Chamber of Commerce – As part of a three person team, John
helped plan and prepare for the annual Bird Supper in Atlanta. Worked
with the Military Affairs and Governmental Affairs Committee for
several months on different projects throughout the year. Including,
working with committees to plan and schedule Red Carpet events for
Moody AFB and help set up the annual Washington trip that the Chamber
participates in. Now John is an Ambassador for the Chamber and helps
welcome new businesses to the area. John is very much pro-growth,
but also wants to balance that approach with keeping our neighborhoods
and residential areas intact.
•
Business Community – John worked for local investment firm
Smith Barney and worked with the brokers of different accounts within
the stock market. There John was able to look at how to manage money
in a fiscally responsible manner and invest in the right opportunities
and not waste money on unnecessary stocks. As Councilman At-large,
John promises to bring a fiscally responsible approach to Valdosta’s
budget. He understands that our budget is YOUR money and will not
forget that as the council decides how to spend YOUR money throughout
the course of the year. |

| What
John wants most is to bring a fresh perspective to our community.
This position deserves Responsible and Dedicated leadership for
the future of this community and that is what John Eunice brings
to this race. He promises to address the growing traffic issues
throughout the city. He knows that in order to fix our concerns
we must communicate with the county government. John also is aware
that with his intimate involvement at Valdosta State University
he will be able to work together to address and find solutions for
the growing parking and housing problems at the university. Together
these concerns are fixable, and we must form the necessary teams
to roll up our sleeves and go to work on these issues. John asks
for your support and your vote on November 4th and welcomes your
input. Anyone interested in helping with his campaign can reach
John or his team at 241-1349. Contributions are also welcomed and
can be mailed to 1207 Lake Dr., Valdosta, GA 31602. Let’s
elect John Eunice to the Valdosta City Council on November 4th and
bring a “fresh perspective” to our community! |
